3 Tips For Finding Wholesale Products

When looking for wholesale products, it seems the first thing people encounter are these "wholesale lists" that are for sale. In most cases, these lists are completely useless and you could have found these resources by doing a simple search on the internet. In addition, some of the so called resources don't even have a website anymore, which indicates the list is way outdated and is probably being resold by the person who bought the list in the first place. Having said this, every once in a while, you will find a list with one or two decent suppliers which I will briefly discuss later. For now, I would like to identify 3 easy ways to find discounted or wholesale products within your niche.First, once you have identified your niche (for example electronics) which you will be selling products, I would suggest finding at least one high ticket item. For this example, I will be using the electronics as my niche, since I have a specific interest in this niche. However, this is very broad, so you will want to narrow it down even further, lets take iPods and MP3 players for this example. Now we have our "niche", but we need to pick a specific make and model to sell. In this niche, many iPods and MP3 players sell for way over $100, so you could pretty much take any make model to research, but here are the steps. Go to some of the major search engines and secondary search engines and do a search for your product/make model number. Do some digging to see where you can find the cheapest deal. Also, make sure to do this search not just on google, but other search engines as well since not all search engines give back the same results. Once you have found the lowest price here, write that down to keep for reference.
Secondly, do a search on google and other search engines for "your product name wholesale" or "wholesale your product name". In addition, you could use the broad or narrowed niche name in replacement for "your product name above" to find some additional suppliers in your niche to see if they have your product. After going through the top search results and digging down into the 2nd and 3rd pages to find the lowest prices, write these down for reference.Lastly, find some of the bigger named stores that sell your product in your niche and find their website on the internet. Often times, they will hold sales for online purchases and offer free shipping and handling on internet purchases. These won't be advertised in store as they are only internet promotions. Sometimes you can find great deals here that may only last for a while, but if its a product you know (since you have done your research previously) and is a great bargain, you can easily capitalize and stock up now in order to sell later. These steps and techniques are easy to do and if you want to sell products online for extra cash or for a living you will need them to help your business thrive. Now I mentioned I would briefly discuss wholesale lists so here it is. "Do not buy any of these lists on ebay". I say this because you have no way of knowing how old these lists are. If you truly think you need to buy a list to find wholesale products, then I would suggest going to clickbank.com and doing a simple search in their marketplace. Clickbank sells digital products and you will be able to tell when the digital product was released so you can determine if this is new, or if its an old product. The markets are constantly changing and suppliers come and go with more frequency now than ever due to the competition. You need to ensure for your business' sake that you have the most up to date information. Do your homework right, and you will find your products at discounted or wholesale amounts that will instantly pull you in profits.
